May Counterfeit Kit Challenge Part #1

I've finished putting all of my supplies together for this months Counterfeit Kit Challenge, and I have to say there wasn't one thing I didn't love about the inspiration kits!  There were literally 5 kits to choose from this month...but because I loved each one soo much and they all coordinated, I counterfeited them all! Yep...that's right...ALL of them! I had scrappin supplies in piles all over my room, even the floor. Why all 5, simple...I'm going to the Great American Scrapbook Convention the weekend of May 31 to June 2, I will actually arrive on May 30 and be there until June 3, and for 3 days and nights I will be sitting at a table with my sister scrapping myself silly! So rather than build individual page kits this year (that's typically what I do), because school and work did not allow me to do that, I will be taking the CKC kit for May. I think I will have plenty to work on while I'm there but I have a couple of Iris boxes with other on-going projects that I will prolly take with me in case I get tired of looking at my CKC kit ( that's gonna happen).

I will be splitting this post up over 2 days because of all the pictures...yall know how I am with kit pictures, I take tons! And well....this kit is huge, gigantic, extremely large!!!

Main kit inspiration from Studio Calico is called City of lights

Since all of my paper isn't double sided, I selected some additional paper from my stash that is simular to the backs of the inspiration paper.
6 packages of unopened bling and one already opened.
I actually pulled out a quickutz font to take with me, I may pull several more for just in case and then again I might rely on my sister and her electronic die cutter.
Letter stickers.
Letter template embellishments that have been in my stash forever!
Misc. pieces I have made with scrap paper.
Metal embellishments.
Some leftover journal pieces plus several pieces that I cut out with my Revolution from brown scraps.
Leftover stickers, a title piece, some misc. chipboard and some flower embellishments left over from an old SEI kit.
Chipboard and a leftover package of embellishments from SEI.

Additional kit inspiation #2 by Studio Calico is called Sorbonne

I didn't have double sided paper so I found paper in my stash to match the inspiration papers backsides. I also haven't cut up my circle pieces to apply to the paper, I just cut the circles out so far.
I didn't have anything like the smash dividers, so I found paper from my scrap bin and I will cut these down to size and make them work.
Ribbon and floss.
Metal bits, buttons, transparent embellishents, and some bits that I made with leftover paper.
Leftover stickers and stags.
5 unopened packages of bling and 2 opened packages.
A sheet of leftover paper flowers with brad centers. They are from a company that I think is out of business called Miss Elizabeth's. These were some of the first embellishments I ever bought years and years ago.
Letter stickers.
Misc title and journal pieces.

Additional kit inspiration #3 by Studio Calico is called Louvre

My pattern paper is single sided so I pulled additional paper to replicate the back side of the inspiration paper.
Misc. title pieces.
Misc journal pieces.
Leftover packaging from embellishments, they were too pretty to throw out.
Paper doilies.
2 unopened packages of bling and one baggie full of leftover bits of bling.
Misc. stickers and tags.
Chipboard alpha.
Transparency, ribbon and a fower I made from leftover paper.
Buttons, paper ribbon, ribbon, metal embellishments and embellishments I made out of leftover paper.

Well that's it for today, stay tuned for tomorrows post with the rest of my kit.

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

I love this idea for a planning for a crop! I love everything you picked out, but I really loved the little tags and flowers you made from your scraps! Great job! Love Penny

ok, now that I've caught up with your first kit, I really want to come to the convention with you and just delve into your stash! ha ha!

How any one of those would be enough for me to scrap with for 3 days and nights. You will be super productive - if you've not too tired from lugging your supplies around(wink). I like that you've really included variety in your embellishments. Nicely done.
